Individual play therapy
this is to work 1:1 with a child. the space and resources are there for them to choose how to play with. seeing the therapist on their own allows the child to act out, play or talk about anything the wish whilst staying confidential. it gives them the Emotional strength in a safe environment to work through their feelings and make sense of their life experiences.
Group Play Therapy
children sometimes need help in similar ways. they may have suffered similar difficulties, wither a parent or sibling has recently passed away, or parents recently divorced. This is not recommended for those with complex needs or traumatic histories.individual therapy would be recommended.
Parent & Child Play Therapy
Play Therapy presentation.
a brief presentation explaining play therapy. how it can help a child. who might benefit from receiving play therapy. and how to find a play therapist.
This could be to possible future play therapists', Schools looking to employ a therapist or for an information evening.
Prices
Individual Play Therapy
- £40.00 set up fee per client including meeting with referrer, teacher and parents at the beginning and end of contract.
- £35 per session
- £20.00 End report
Sessions run for 12 weeks initially.
Schools or organisations may have a number of children who could benefit from Play Therapy.
- £140 Full day play therapy 9-4 seeing 4 children.
- £80 Half day play therapy 9-12 seeing 2 children.
prices can be negotiated for longer contracts.
Group Play Therapy
- £40 set up fee for each child in the group including meeting with referrer, teacher and each parent at the beginning and end of contract.
- £35.00 per session (4 clients per session)
- £20 End report per child.
Sessions run for 12 weeks.
Parent & Child Play Therapy
- £40 set up, this includes meeting the referrer, parent/carer and child
- £35 per session
- £20 per report
Sessions run for 6 weeks, the initial session is with the parent alone, all subsequent sessions are with both parent and child.
Presentation
- £30.00 1 hour presentation with question and answer at the end.
